  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla
  • 2 1/2 cups whole wheat flour
  • 1 1/2 cups cranberry relish*
  • Use your own cranberry relish or Raw Cranberry Relish (recipe in collection)

Step 1

Mix butter and honey; blend in eggs and vanilla. Add flour and mix well; chill. Roll dough, half at a time, on lightly floured surface, to a 16-by-9-inch rectangle. Cut into three 16-by-3-inch strips. Spread 1/2 cup cranberry relish down center of one strip. Fold 16-inch edges to the middle and join by pressing together lightly. Cut into 2-inch bars. Place, seam side down, on ungreased baking sheet. Repeat with remaining strips. Bake at 375 F for 12 to 15 minutes until lightly browned.
