Ingredients

  • 9 oz uncooked linguine
  • 1 c green peas
  • 4 tsp evoo
  • 1 tbs unsalted butter
  • 2 tbs lemon juice
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 c basil, fresh, chopped
  • 2 oz Parmigiano-Reggiano cheese, shaved

Preparation

Step 1

Cook pasta according to pkg directions, omitting salt and fat. Add peas during last 2 minutes of cooking time.
Drain over a bowl and reserve 1/2 c pasta liquid. Heat evoo and butter until melted. Remove from heat and stir in pasta, pasta liquid, salt and pepper, toss well.
Sprinkle with basil and cheese just before serving.
