Ingredients
- 4 large green peppers (3 bumps on bottom)
- 1 lb. lean ground beef
- 1 can pork and beans
- 1/2 cup ketchup
- 1 tsp. prepared mustard
- 1 tsp. hot chilis (optional)
- 1 small clove garlic, minced
- 1 tsp. fresh ginger
- 1/2 tomato chopped
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 tsp. Louisiana hot sauce
- 1/2 cup grated cheddar

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease a baking dish.
Cut a slice off the top of the green peppers. Scoop out the inside with a teaspoon. Cook the peppers in a small amount of salted water for 10 minutes. Drain and set aside.
In a large skillet, fry the beef, breaking it up as you go. Drain well. Add the onion, garlic, and ginger and cook until the onion is translucent.
Add the tomato, pork and beans, ketchup, mustard, chili, Worcestershire, and hot sauce. Stir well until heated. Taste and adjust seasonings.
Stuff the peppers with the mixture, top with cheese and bake at 350 for 30 minutes.
