Ingredients

  • Topping:
  • 2 cup Flour
  • 1/2 cup Brown Sugar,packed
  • 2 tsp Unsalted Butter
  • 1/2 tsp Baking Powder
  • 1 tsp Baking Soda
  • Pinch of Salt
  • 2 Large Eggs
  • 1 cup Bananas, very ripe and mashed
  • 1 tsp Vanilla
  • 1/2 cup Creamy or Nutty Peanut Butter
  • 1/3 cup Milk+1 tbsp lemon juice, mixed Together
  • 3/4 cup Chopped Peanuts, optional
  • 4 tsp Sugar
  • 4 tsp Flour
  • 4 tsp Peanut Butter Creamy or Nutty
  • 1 tsp Bacon Bits

Preparation

Step 1

1. Cream butter and peanut butter and gradually add sugar creaming well. Add eggs, bananas and vanilla. Blend well. Combine milk and vinegar, set aside. Add flour, soda, baking powder and salt, alternately with the milk mixture, beginning and ending with dry ingredients. Blend well after each addition. Stir in peanuts, if using.

2. Pour batter evenly into 2- 9x5" or 8" pans, well greased on the bottom and corners.

3. Combine topping ingredients in a small bowl until crumbly. Divide mixture evenly over each loaf and stir lightly into top of bread with a fork.

4. Bake in 350F preheated oven for 50-60 mins, or when tests done with wooden toothpick. Let set 5 mins. Run knife around sides and ends of pan to loosen. Remove from pans onto wire rack and brush with butter on all sides.
