- 5 eggs, separated
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1 1/2 cups wheat germ
- 3 cups ground nuts
- 1 (20 ounce) can unsweetened crushed pineapple, including juice

Step 1
Beat egg yolks until light; add honey and beat again. Add wheat germ and ground nuts; beat. Stir in pineapple. Fold in stiffly beaten egg whites. Pour into two greased 8-inch cake pans or one greased 8 1/2-by-12-inch baking pan. Bake at 325 F for 30 minutes. Cool and frost.
