Ingredients
- 1 1lb bag dried black eyed peas
- 1 kielbasa link
- Onion powder
- Garlic powder
- Salt
- Pepper
Preparation
Step 1
Follow quick rinse instructions on bag then return peas to pot. Add seasonings to taste.
Bring to a boil for 5 minutes, reduce to simmer and cover. Let simmer about 3-4 hours. (or until peas are tender)
Chop kielbasa into small pieces. Add to pot for last 1-2 hours.
Serve with corn bread.
