Ingredients
- 1 lb. lean ground beef
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 2 stalks celery, finely chopped
- 1/2 tsp. minced garlic
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- Freshly ground pepper, to taste
- 2 Tbsp. Worcestershire Sauce
- 2 cups corn, preferably fresh off the cob
- 3 cups mashed potatoes
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1/2 stick butter, coarsely chopped

Step 1
Peel and quarter 6 medium potatoes and cook in salted water, until a knife goes through them. Drain, cool and mash with a touch of milk and butter.
In a large skillet, brown the beef, breaking it up as you go. Add the onion, celery and garlic as it is finishing up. Drain.
Place the beef in a mixing bowl, add the corn, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper.
Put in a 9x9 inch baking dish and smooth the mashed potato on top. Dot with chopped butter.
Extras can be frozen at this point.
Cook at 350 degrees for 30 to 35 minutes, then place under the broiler to crisp up the potato.
If cooking from frozen, place in the microwave on defrost for 30 minutes, then cook as normal.
