Ingredients
- 3/4 cup molasses
- 3/4 cup oil
- 1 3/4 cups whole wheat flour
- 1/4 cup soy flour
- 1 3/4 cups rolled oats
- 1/4 cup bran
- 1/3 cup honey
- 3 tbsp cornstarch
- 1/2 cup warm water (or whey)
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- 2 1/2 cups any combination of chopped dried fruit

Step 1
Blend first six ingredients together forming crumb mixture. Press one-half mixture into lightly-oiled 12-by-8-inch baking dish. Place second set of six ingredients in saucepan. Cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until mixture thickens. Cool and pour over crumb mixture in baking dish. Top with remaining half of crumb mixture. Bake at 400 F for 25 minutes. When slightly cooled, cut into bars.
