Ingredients
- 1 cup raisins
- 1 cup wheat germ
- 1/2 cup high-protein powder
- 1/2 cup powdered milk
- 1 tbsp brewer's yeast (optional)
- 2 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp allspice
- 1/4 tsp nutmeg
- 1/2 cup sunflower seeds or chopped nuts
- 1 cup chopped wheat sprouts (sprouted from 1/3 cup grain)
- 1/4 cup oil
- 2 tbsp blackstrap molasses
- 2 tsp vanilla
- 1/2 cup raisin water
- 2 well-beaten eggs

Step 1
Soak raisins overnight (save soak water). Mix dry ingredients, seeds or nuts, wheat sprouts and drained raisins. Combine oil, molasses, vanilla and raisin water. Add to dry ingredients and mix well. Gently fold in eggs. Pour into 11-by-7-inch baking pan lined with waxed paper. Bake at 350 F for 40 to 50 minutes. Remove paper and cut promptly.
