Angela's Italian Meatballs & Spaghetti Sauce

Ingredients
- Meatballs:
- 2 lbs Ground Beef
- 4 Eggs
- 1 1/2 Cup Bread Crumbs
- 3/4 Cup grated Romano Cheese
- 2 Garlic cloves, chopped
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 1 tsp Black pepper
- 1 tbsp fresh parsley
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- Sauce:
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1 garlic clove, chopped
- 1 (6oz) can tomato paste
- 2 (28oz) cans tomato sauce
- 3/4 cup water
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp pepper
- 1 tsp fresh parsley

Step 1
Meatballs:
Combine all ingredients exept olice oil in large bowl. Mix well. Form about 16 meatballs and place on a platter. Heat olive oil in a large skillet and fry meatballs over medium heat until browned. Repeat until all meatballs are browned. Place meatballs on a clean platter. Do not discard oil.
Sauce:
In the skillet, heat the reserved oil, add onion, garlic and saute for about 2 mns. Add tomato paste and cook on medium heat for 3 mins, stirring cinstantly. Add water to skillet and cook for 1 min, stiring. Remove, set aside.
In a sauce pan, add tomato sauce and cook on medium heat for 5 mins. Add tomato paste mixture from the skillet and the reserved browned meatballs. Mix throughly. Add salt, pepper and parsley. Cook medium heat for 15 mins, then cover and cook on low heat for about 2 1/2 hrs. Stirring every 15 min. Serve over al dente pasta and sprinkle with romano cheese.
