Baked Cranberry Apples
By Hklbrries
These baked apples glow with the jewel-like color of cranberries.
Rome Beauty, Northern Spy and Cortland bake to a deep red hue. Jonagold, Braeburn and Fuji hold their shapes well when baked, but cooking times vary. Typically about 1 hour for Jonagold, a little longer for Braeburn, and up to 2 hours for the denser Fuji.
