Ingredients

  • 1 pound refrigerated, ready-made pizza dough
  • Vegetable oil cooking spray
  • 3 large apples, thinly sliced
  • 1 cup apple juice
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1/4 cup chopped, toasted pecans
  • 1 cup grated white cheddar cheese

Step 1

1. Pre-heat oven to 425F. Lightly coat 14-inch pizza pan with cooking spray. Press dough into pizza pan.

2. Combine apple slices and apple juice in a medium saucepan. Cook apples in juice until tender. Drain off juice and reserve. Place apples on dough. Dissolve cornstarch in apple juice. Add the cinnamon and honey. Cook over medium heat until clear and thickened. Spread sauce over apples.

3. Sprinkle pecans over apples. Top with cheese. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes.
