Ingredients
- 1 pound butter
- 2 cups C & H Sugar(really only this kind)
- 1 cup chocolate chips of your choice mixed with nuts

Step 1
Melt butter then add the sugar. Stir with a wooden spoon, bring to a boil, reduce heat and continue to stir for a full 20 minutes. Keep checking with a candy thermometer, Color will change from gold to carmel at 290 300 degrees.
At this point immediately onto a buttered jelly roll pan, working fast spread with a knife.
When hard but still hot pour 1 cup of chocolate chips and spread as it melts and sprinkle with the nuts. let hardend
and when cold break up into pieces.
