If serving 10-12, halve the recipe.

Ingredients

  • 4 250-gm pkgs. cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 to 1 kilo crab flavoured pollock
  • 4 Tbsp. cognac (to taste)
  • 1 tsp. garlic powder
  • mayonnaise/yogurt/sour cream to smooth mix
  • slivered almonds

Step 1

Preheat oven to 325.

Put all ingredients, except almonds, into a mixing bowl and mix slowly on low speed.

Place into an oven proof bowl and cook for 1 hour.

Place the slivered almonds on top and return to oven.

The dip is ready when the almonds are golden brown.

Serve warm with crackers or stuff into room temperature celery stalks.
