- 4 tart green apples (such as Granny Smith), peeled and cored
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 4 tbsp butter, divided
- 2 tsp ground cinnamon

Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 350 F.
Cut and scoop out the core of the apple from the top, leaving a well. Do not cut all the way through. Stuff each apple with about 2 tablespoons brown sugar and 1 tablespoon butter. Place in a shallow baking dish and sprinkle with cinnamon.
Bake for 15 to 20 minutes, until sugar begins to caramelize and apples are tender.
