Ingredients
- 3-4 lbs of chicken
- 1/2 tspn saffron threads
- 1 tbspn hot water
- 2/3 cup lemon juice
- 2/3 cup plain yogurt
- 2/3 cup olives oil
- 1/4 cup packed finely chopped fresh flat-leaf parslep
- 1 tbspn peeld,finely chopped fresh ginger
- 1 tbspn coarse salt
- 1 1/2 tspn ground turmeric
- 1 lg onion, thinkly sliced crosswise

Preparation
Step 1
cut chicken into cubes for skewering
Dry chicken, place in pyrex casserole dish
prepare saffron, add water to threads, stir , let sit
Add lemon juice, yogurt, oil parsley, ginger, salt , pepper, and turmeric, stir together in glass bowl
Top chicken with onion slices
Pour marinade over top until well covered.
Let sit in fridge about 8 hours,
Skewer and grill
Serve with rice.
