OVEN STEW

Similar to, but with a different flavor combination than Gibson stew. Can easily be doubled

Ingredients

• 1 lb stewing beef, cut up
• 1 large onion, cut up
• 1-2 potatoes, cut up
• 1-2 carrots, cut up
• 7 1/2 oz can tomato sauce
• 1/2 cup beef broth or buillion
• 3/4 tsp salt
• 1/8 tsp pepper

Preparation

Step 1

Combine all together in casserole or roaster. Cover, Bake in 300 oven for 3 1/2 to 4 hours until tender.
