Ingredients
- 3 cups of flour
- ½ teaspoon of baking powder
- ½ teaspoon of salt
- 1 teaspoon of baking soda
- ¾ cup of butter
- 1 ½ cup of brown sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla

Preparation
Step 1
1. Mix flour, baking powder, salt and baking soda.
2. Cream the butter, gradually adding brown sugar and beat well after each addition.
3. Add eggs and beat well.
4. Incorporate dry ingredients slowly beating well after each addition.
5. Add vanilla.
6. Refrigerate 1 hour.
7. Roll to 1/8 on a lightly floured surface and use cookie cutter of choice or roll into ball and place on greased cookie sheet and squeeze with a fork.
8. Bake at 375 from 10-12 minutes.
