Ingredients

  • 2 Cups Flour
  • 1 Cup Butter/margarine
  • 1 Egg
  • 1 TBSP vinegar
  • Water to equal 1/2 Cup
  • 1/2 tsp Salt

Preparation

Step 1

Place butter in a mixing bowl. Add flour and salt. With 2 knives, cut the butter into the flour until about the size of peas.

Break the egg into a measuring cup. Add vinegar. Add water to the 1/2 cup line. Beat thoroughly.

Add egg mixture to butter/flour mixture and mix with fork until dough forms a ball. Divide into two equal portions. Roll out on well-floured pastry cloth to even thickness.

If needing pre-baked crust, place in pie pan and bake at 375 for 10 minutes.
