Ingredients
- 16 slices, coarse homestyle bread
- 1 c butter, melted and divided
- 8 slices old english cheese
- 8 slices ham
- 6 eggs
- 3 c milk
- 1/2 t dry mustard
- 1/2 t salt
- 1 c cornflake crumbs

Step 1
Cut crusts of 16 slices of bread and brush on both sides with melted butter. Put 8 slices in 9x13 pan. Top each with 1 slice of cheese and 1 slice of ham. Put 8 slices of bread on top.
Slightly beat together remaining ingredients except cornflake crumbs, and pour over bread and all.
Refrigerate overnight. Just before putting in the oven, top with 1 cup of cornflake crumbs and 1/2 cup melted butter. Bake at 350 for 1 hour. Serves 8.
