  • 8 peeled, quartered apples
  • 1 halved lemon
  • 1/2 cup maple syrup
  • 2 cinnamon sticks
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar

Step 1

Simmer apples, lemon, maple syrup and cinnamon sticks until apples are soft. Discard cinnamon and lemon. Mash. Add brown sugar.
