1001 Orange Delights

Ingredients

• 2 cups - Domino® Sugar 1001 Cookie Starter Mix
• 1/2 cup - finely ground almonds
• 2 - large eggs, lightly beaten
• 1 cup - Domino® Granulated Sugar
• 2 tablespoons - all-purpose flour
• 1 tablespoon - orange juice
• 1 teaspoon - grated orange zest
• Domino® Confectioners Sugar

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350°F.

To Prepare Crust:
Mix together in bowl, cookie mix and almonds. Press into lightly greased 8-inch square baking pan. Bake at 350°F for 15 minutes. Do not brown.

To Prepare Filling:
Mix together in bowl, eggs, granulated sugar, flour, orange juice and rind. Spread evenly over crust. Bake 25 minutes longer or until top is set. Cool on wire rack in pan. Cut into squares while still warm. Sprinkle with confectioners' sugar.

Makes 16 squares.
