  • 6 pan-dressed trout
  • 2/3 c. soy sauce
  • 1/2 c. ketchup
  • 2 tbsp. lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp. vegetable oil
  • 1 tsp. crushed dried rosemary

Preparation

Step 1

Place trout in a single layer in a large resealable plastic bag. Combine soy sauce, ketchup, lemon juice, oil and rosemary; pour 2/3 of marinade into bag. Close bag and let stand for 1 hour, turning once. Set aside remaining marinade for basting.
Discard marinade from fish. Place in a single layer in a well-greased hinged wire grill basket. Grill, covered, over medium heat for 8 to 10 minutes or until the fish is browned on bottom. Turn and baste with the reserved marinade; grill 5 to 7 minutes longer or until the fish flakes easily with a fork.
