Ingredients
- 2 cloves garlic, chopped
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 2 tbsp. butter or oil
- 2 lbs. ground round steak
- 2 tsp. chili powder
- 2 tsp. oregano
- 2 tsp. ground cumin
- 2 tsp. salt
- 2 tsp. MSG
- 4 tbsp. sugar
- 2 (8 oz. ) cans tomato sauce
- 2 (6 oz. ) cans tomato paste
- 5 1/2 tomato sauce cans of water
- 2 (13 oz.) bags corn chips

Preparation
Step 1
Saute onions and garlic in the butter or oil. Add meat and brown quickly until it loses all its red color. Add all other ingredients except corn chips and simmer for 1 hour.
Serve over corn chips with any of the following garnishes:
2 green onions, sliced
1 head of letuce, chopped
3/4 cup sliced olives
2 (4 oz.) cans taco sauce
2 avocadoes, chopped
1 lb. Cheddar cheese, shredded
2 pods jalapeno pepper, chopped
Serves 8-10.
