Ingredients
- 8 oz mini fusilli pasta
- 3 c milk
- 1/4 c all purpose flour
- 3 1/2 c shredded sharp cheddar cheese (14oz)
- 2 t cayenne pepper sauce, such as Frank's red hot
- 1/2 t salt
- 2 scallions, chopped

Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 375. Cook pasta according to pkg directions; drain.
Meanwhile, coat 2 qt or 11x7 baking dish with cooking spray. In large pot, whisk together milk and flour. OVer med high heat, bring to boil while whisking. Reduce heat to me low. Cook, whisking, until thickened, 5 min.
Whisk in 3 c cheese, pepper sauce and salt; cook whisking, until melted and smooth. With spoon, stir in pasta and scallions. Transfer to baking dish; sprinkle with remaining 1/2 c cheese. Bake until hot, bubbly and golden, about 20 min. Cool slightly before cutting into squares.
