Ingredients
- 5 tablespoons chopped Toasted walnuts
- 15 baked miniature phyllo dough shells
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1/4 teaspoon finely shredded lemon peel
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- Chopped toasted walnuts

Preparation
Step 1
1. Spoon about 1 teaspoon chopped toasted walnuts into each of the phyllo shells; set aside.
2. In a small saucepan combine sugar, honey, butter, lemon peel, lemon juice, and cinnamon. Cook and stir over medium heat until bubbly. Cook for 1 minute more, stirring constantly. Carefully spoon some of the mixture over walnuts in each phyllo shell (shell will be full).
3. Top filling in phyllo shells with additional chopped toasted walnuts. Let stand until set.
Make-Ahead Directions: Place tassies in a single layer in an airtight container; cover. Store in the refrigerator for up to 3 days or freeze for up to 3 months.
