Ingredients
- 4 lb asparagus
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1 pinch salt and pepper
Preparation
Step 1
Rinse asparagus and snap off woody ends. In a wide skillet of boiling water, cover and simmer asparagus until tender-crisp, about 8 minutes. Or, place asparagus upright in asparagus cooker, cover and steam until tender-crisp, about 12 minutes. Drain and sprinkle with lemon juice, vegetable oil, salt and pepper.
