Ingredients

  • 6 eggs separated
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 oz light rum
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 2 cups cream
  • 1/2 to 3/4 cup Bourbon (Jack Daniels)
  • grated nutmeg

Preparation

Step 1

Beat egg yolks and egg whites separately.
Add 1/2 cup sugar to yolks while beating.
Add 1/4 cup sugar to egg whites after beating them very stiff.
Mix egg whites and egg yolks.
Stir in cream and milk. Now is the time to take some aside for children without the alcohol.
Add bourbon and rum.
Chill in refrigerator and serve with grated nutmeg to sprinkle on top of each serving.
