Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp flour
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • 8 oz sharp cheese (shredded)
  • 8 oz Swiss cheese (shredded)
  • 1 can (12 oz.) beer
  • Dash red pepper sauce
  • 1 clove garlic

Preparation

Step 1

1. Toss flour, salt, pepper, and cheese until cheese is coated.
2. Rub garlic clove (cut in half) on inside of pot.
3. Heat beer in pot under low heat. Add cheese mixture slowly, stirring after each addition until cheese is melted and blended.
4. Stir in pepper sauce.
5. Transfer pot to source of heat at table. Adjust heat as necessary. Stir in additional bear if sauce become too thick.
