Spinach Bake Appetizers

Ingredients

• 1 package frozen chopped spinach, thawed & drained (10 oz / 300 g) 1
• 1 package stuffing mix with seasonings (4 oz / 120 g) 1
• 3 eggs, well beaten 3
• 1 medium onion, finely chopped 1
• 125 ml butter, melted 1/2 cup
• 125 ml parmesan cheese, grated 1/2 cup
• 2 ml garlic powder 1/2 tsp
• 2 ml salt 1/2 tsp
• 2 ml pepper 1/2 tsp
• 2 ml dried thyme 1/2 tsp

Preparation

Step 1

In a large mixing bowl, combine spinach, stuffing mix, eggs, onion, butter, cheese, garlic powder, salt, pepper and dried thyme. Shape into bite-sized balls. Place on cookie sheet. Bake in preheated 350 F (180 C) oven for 20 minutes. You can also place spinach mixture in 1 1/2 quart (1.5 L) greased shallow baking dish. Bake in preheated 350 F (180 C) oven for 30 minutes or until thoroughly heated.
