Ingredients
- 1 lbs. shredded cabbage
- 1/4 cup chopped onion or more to taste
- 1/4 cup shredded carrots
- 2/3 cup mayonnaise-type salad dressing (such as Miracle Whip)
- 3 tbsp. vegetable oil
- 3 tbsp. tarragon vinegar, cider vinegar or wine vinegar
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar *(see tester's note)
- 1/2 tsp. salt

Preparation
Step 1
Combine cabbage, onions and carrots in a large bowl.
Mix together salad dressing, oil, vinegar, sugar and salt. Pour over cabbage; toss to combine.
For best flavor, cover and refrigerate overnight.
Tester's note: This coleslaw is tasty, but quite sweet; if desired, reduce the sugar by half.
