Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups water
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup brown rice
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 1 1/2 cups chopped onion
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 2 carrots, sliced
- 2 cups fresh sliced mushrooms
- 1 cup chickpeas
- 2 eggs, beaten
- freshly ground black pepper
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
- 1/4 cup chopped cashews

Step 1
THIS SET OF INSTRUCTIONS IS FOR THE AROMA RICE COOKER:
Add all ingredients to the inner pot and stir to combine. Place inner pot in the rice cooker and close the lid. Press the brown Rice button and cook until rice cooker switches to "Keep-Warm" mode. Allow rice to stand, covered, for 10 minutes. Adjust seasoning as desired. Pour into a serving bowl and serve immediately.
