Ingredients

  • 1 unbaked deep dish pie shell
  • 2 T butter
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 12 slices bacon or less
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 c light cream or can of milk
  • 3/4 t salt
  • Dash nutmeg and pepper
  • 1 c grated Swiss cheese

Preparation

Step 1

Saute' onions until soft. Fry bacon and drain and break into pieces. Combine everything else and beat together. Spread bacon onions and cheese in pie shell. Pour all else over. Bake 425 for 15 mins, then 300 for 40 mins or until knife inserted in center comes out clean.
