Sweet Soy-Garlic Sauce

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup water
- 3 medium garlic cloves, minced or pressed through a garlic press (about 1 tablespoon)
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
- 1 teaspoon Thai chili-garlic sauce, such as sriracha

Preparation
Step 1
Simmer all of the ingredients together in a small saucepan over medium heat until syrupy, about 5 minutes. Let cool to room temperature before serving. (The sauce can be refrigerated in an airtight container for up to 1 day.)
