Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup (1/2 stick) butter
  • 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 3 medium bananas, peeled and sliced
  • 1/4 cup light or dark rum
  • 1 quart vanilla ice cream

Preparation

Step 1

In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add brown sugar and cinnamon; stir until sugar is melted.

Stir in bananas and rum; cook 2 to 3 minutes, or until heated through.

Scoop ice cream into serving bowls and top with banana mixture. Serve immediately.
