Ingredients

  • 6 oz Fresh Broccoli
  • 1/3 cup Milk
  • 2 Tbs H2O
  • 1/4 cup Shred3 Swiss Cheese
  • 1/8 tsp Salt
  • Salt & Pepper to Taste
  • 1 tsp Butter or Margarine
  • 1- 1/2 tsp Unbleached Flour

Preparation

Step 1

1 Wash Broccoli; remove outer leaves & tough part of stalks. Cut Broccoli stalks lengthwise into uniform spears, following the branching lines. In a 1 Qrt. Casserole conbmine Broccoli, H2O, &
1/8 tsp. salt. Micro covered, on 100% for 5 to 6 minutes or until tender. Let stand covered, while preparing sauce.
2 Micro butter @ 100% for 30 to 45 secs. Stir in flour, dash of salt & pepper. Stir in Milk. Micro uncovered @ 100% for 1 to 2 mintues. Stirring every 30 secs. Stir in Swiss Cheese until melted. Drain Broccoli & serve sauce ontop.
