- 1 (20 ounce) can crushed pineapple (undrained)
- 1 (21 ounce) can prepared fruit cherry pie filling
- 1 (18.25 ounce) box yellow cake mix
- 2 sticks butter (melted)
- 1/4 cup chopped nuts (optional)

Step 1
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Dump undrained pineapple in 9 x 13 pan. Using a spoon, dump globs of cherry pie filling evenly over the top of pineapple. Sprinkle the cake mix over cherry and pineapple layers. Drizzle butter evenly over cake mix. Sprinkle with nuts if desired. Bake for one hour.
YIELD: 10-12 servings
