Funfetti Cookies

Ingredients

• 2 tbsp vegetable shortening
• 1 1/2 sticks unsalted butter
• 2/3 cup sugar
• 1 egg
• 1 tsp vanilla extract
• 1 3/4 cup all purpose flour
• 1/4 tsp baking powder
• 1/4 tsp salt
• 1/4 cup sprinkles or jimmies

Preparation

Step 1

In mixer bowl cream shortenting butter and sugar. Add egg and vanilla extract.

In a small bowl mix flour baking powder and salt. Add to butter/shortening/sugar mixture. Blend until all flour/mixture is combined. Stir in sprinkles/jimmies. Bake at 325 degrees for 15 minutes.

Makes 12 cookies
