Better than Ever Peanut Butter Oatmeal Cookies

Ingredients

• 2 c quick cooking oats, uncooked
• 1 1/4 c flour
• 1 t baking powder
• 1 t baking soda
• 1/4 t salt
• 1 c butter or margarine
• 1 c creamy peanut butter
• 1 c sugar
• 1 c firmly packed brown sugar
• 2 eggs
• 1 t vanilla

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In small bowl combine oats, flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.

In large bowl with mixer at medium speed, beat butter and peanut butter until smooth. Beat in sugars until well blended. Beat in eggs and vanilla. Blend in flour mixture.

Drop dough by rounded teaspoonfuls 2" apart on ungreased cookie sheet.

Bake 12 minutes or until lightly browned. Remove from cookie sheets.

Store in tightly covered container.
