Barbecued Apples

Ingredients
- 5-7 large apples, peeled, cored and sliced
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 2 tbsp maple syrup
- 2 tsp lemon juice
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tsp butter/margarine
- 1/4 cup raisins (optional)

Preparation
Step 1
Mix all ingredients together, place in a 9-inch foil pie plate, cover with foil. Cook on medium heated barbecue for 20-30 minutes or until apples are cooked through. Remove, let cool slightly, serve over vanilla ice cream, angel food cake or with whipping cream.
Note: if you have any left over, use for your morning pancakes or waffles, or mix with warm oatmeal.
