Step 1

Fry diced bacon and drain [bacon]. [Leave grease in pan.]

Add to grease:

1 cup vinegar
1 cup water
1 cup sugar

Thicken with cornstarch (preferref) or flour.

Add diced bacon and diced onions to potatoes. Salt & pepper.
