Ingredients
- 1 lemon
- 1 can (15 oz) garbanzo beans, rinsed and drained
- 2 TBLS tahini
- 3 TBLS olive oil
- 2 TBLS water
- 1 clove garlic
- 1/8 tsp cayenne pepper
- Salt
- Paprika

Preparation
Step 1
1. Grate 1 tsp lemon peel and squeeze 2 TBLS juice. In food processor, with knige blade attached, combine lemon peel and juce, beans, tahini, oil, watre, garlic, cayenne pepper and 1/4 tsp salt. Puree until smooth. Transfer hummas to serving bowl. If not serving right away, cover and rfrigerate up to 3 days.
2. To serve, sprinkly with paprika. Serve with pita wedges
