Maple-Asian Glazed Salmon

Ingredients
- Sauce
- 1/3 cup (75 mL) maple syrup
- 1/3 cup (75 mL) soy sauce
- 3 tbsp (45 mL) sesame oil
- 2 tbsp (25 mL) chili garlic sauce
- 1 tbsp (15 mL) vegetable oil
- 4 salmon fillets (about 4oz/125 g each) or 1 pkg (454 g) frozen salmon fillets, thawed
- 1/4 cup (50 mL) chicken broth
- 1 pkg (500 g) Green Giant* Valley Selections* Japanese Mix
- Cooked rice or cellophane noodles
- Chopped fresh cilantro and toasted sesame seeds (optional)

Preparation

Combine all sauce ingredients.

Take 2 tbsp (25 mL) sauce and brush over salmon. Let stand 15 minutes.

Heat oil in large nonstick skillet on medium-high heat. Add salmon; cover and cook about 5 minutes. Turn salmon over and cook an additional 2 to 3 minutes. Remove from pan; cover to keep warm.

Add chicken broth and vegetables to skillet. Cover and cook over medium-high heat for 3 to 5 minutes or until hot and tender, stirring occasionally.

Place vegetables and salmon over rice or noodles. Drizzle with sauce. Sprinkle with cilantro and sesame seeds, if desired.
