Ingredients
- 1 stick butter
- 1/2 c shortening
- 1 1/2 c sugar
- 4 egg yolks(beaten)

- 2 c flour
- 1 t soda
- -
- 1 c butter
- 1 t vanilla
- -
- 1 small can coconut (shredded)
- 1 c chopped pecans
- -
- 4 egg whites beaten stiff

Preparation
Step 1
Cream together first ingredients. Then add dry and wet ingredients alternately. Add coconut and nuts; fold in egg whites. Bake 350* for 25 minutes.
Frosting
1 8 0z pkg cream cheese
1/2 stick butter
1/2 t vanilla
powdered sugar to a thickness that will spread easily
sprinkle with pecans.
