Ingredients
- 1-1/2 cups uncooked long grain rice
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 3 cups chicken broth
- 3/4 cup chopped sweet red pepper
- 3/4 cup chopped green pepper
- 1-1/2 teaspoons dried oregano
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 3 pinches pepper
- Minced fresh parsley

The directions below still refer to the original recipe yield of 2 servings.1.In a small skillet or sauce pan, saute the rice and garlic in butter until rice is browned. Add broth; bring to a boil. Reduce heat; add the peppers, oregano, salt and pepper. Cover and simmer for 15 minutes or until rice is tender. Fluff with a fork. Sprinkle with parsley. Serves 6.
