Pumpkin swirl bread

Ingredients

  • Filling:
  • 2 pkg cream cheese
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tbsp. milk
  • Bread:
  • 3 cups sugar
  • 1 can pumpkin
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 cup oil
  • 1 cup water
  • 4 cup flour
  • 4 tsp pumpkin pie spice
  • 2 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp nutmeg
  • 1/2 tsp cloves
  • 1 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp baking powder

Preparation

Step 1

Grease and flour 3 loaf pans
Preheat oven to 350*
Beat filling ingredients till smooth
In another bowl beat sugar, pumpkin, eggs, oil and water till well blended
Add flour, baking powder and all spices into pumpkin mixture
Stir in walnuts, raisins and dates if desired
Pour 1/2 batter into pans evenly
Spoon filling over batter
Cover with remaining pumpkin batter
Bake 60-*70 minutes
Cool 10 minutes then remove from pans
