l lb baby beets with tops
salted water

Step 1

Choose very small beets, preferably the ones that are pulled to thin out rows. Wash well. Push into saucepan curling tops to fit. Pour boiling water and salt over top. Cover and boil until beets are tender. Drain. Serve with butter
