Ingredients

    lb ground beef/turkey

  • 3

    cups (28 oz jar) spaghetti sauce

  • 1 1/2

    cups water

  • 15 oz container of ricotta or small curd cottage cheese

  • 2

    cups shredded mozzarella or monterey jack cheese - divided

  • 1/2

    cup grated parmesean cheese

  • 2

    eggs

  • 1/4

    cup chopped fresh parsley

  • 1/2

    Tsp salt

  • 1/4

    Tsp ground black pepper

    oz uncooked lasagna noodles

Directions

1) Preheat oven to 350 degrees 2) In 3 quart sauce pan, brown meat and drain 3) Add spaghetti sauce and wter and simmer about 10 minutes 4) In medium bowl, stir together ricotta, one cup mozarella/monterey jack cheese, parmesean cheese, eggs, parsley, salt and pepper 5) Pour about 1 cup sauce on bootom of 13x9 inch baking dish coated with cooking spray 6) Arrange 3 uncooked lasagna pieces lengthwise over sauce and cover with about 1 cup sauce 7) Spread half of the cheese filling over sauce 8) Repeat layers of lasagne, sauce and cheese filling 9) Top with layer of lasagne and remaining sauce - sprinkle with remaining mozzarella cheese 10) Cover with foil and bake about 45 minutes 11) Remove foil and bake an additional 15 minutes 12) Let stand 10 minutes before cutting and serving
