Tony's Puleihu BBQ Sauce

Tree Top has honored Tony Yuen and Spokane Fire Station No 13 as the winner of America's Best Firehouse BBQ Cook-Off.
The recipe for Tony's Puleihu BBQ Sauce, a Hawaiian family recipe that Yuen makes for the station, helped land the $10,000 top prize in the contest.
The station plans to use the money to purchase equipment and boost its benevolent fund.

Ingredients
- 3 cups apple cider
- 1 tbsp Asian chili paste
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp fresh grated ginger
- 1/4 cup light brown sugar
- 1/4 cup molasses
- 1/4 cup ketchup
- 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
