Ingredients
- 1 (20-ounce) can pineapple chunks in heavy syrup
- 1 cup orange juice
- 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice (from 1 large lemon)
- 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
- 3 tablespoons sugar
- 1 tablespoon arrowroot
- 3 cloves garlic, coarsely chopped
- 1 (1-inch) piece fresh ginger, peeled and coarsely chopped
- 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt, plus extra for seasoning

Step 1
1. In a blender, combine the pineapple chunks and syrup, the orange juice, lemon juice, soy sauce, sugar, arrowroot, garlic, ginger, and 1/2 teaspoon salt.
2. Blend until smooth.
3. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat.
4. Add the sauce and simmer until the sauce thickens, about 5 minutes.
5. Season with salt to taste.
Cutting across the grain, slice the meat into 1/4-inch thick slices and arrange on a platter. Garnish with orange slices, if using. Pour the sauce into a serving bowl and serve alongside the beef.
